Crushers getting offensive

After collecting 10 hits on Friday night against the Florence Freedom, the Crushers have now pounded out 28 hits in their last two games.
The saying is that hitting is contagious and right now everyone in the Crushers' lineup is producing. Friday night seven out of the nine batters in the Crushers lineup had a least one hit, including leadoff batter Jodam Rivera (2-for-3).
"I try to get on base and do my part, and that's getting on base," he said. "Right now everyone is helping out, and we just want to keep it going,"
In the bottom of the fourth inning, Crushers' catcher Kylee Hash grounded into a double play. The problem was it looked like Freedom's first baseman Matt Stiffler's foot was off the bag at first.
Manager John Masseralli came out to argue the call with the umpire, but to no avail. Even though he didn't get the call overturned, he also kept his cool and didn't get tossed from the game.
