* Andrew Davis was 3 for 4 last night. He hit three singles, drove in the run that tied the game and scored on a delayed steal avoiding the tag on what looked to be a sure out.
* Matt Smith has won three consecutive decisions and has allowed just one earned run in his last two starts. He heads into the game tied for 10th in ERA.
